Andrew Bernstein: The new Atlas Shrugged movie is a 7 on a 10 scale

Andrew Bernstein is a popular lecturer at the annual OCON summer conferences for Objectivists and has authored many books and lectures related to Atlas Shrugged, including the official Atlas Shrugged Cliffs Notes and, most recently, Capitalism Unbound.

Yesterday he posted the following mini-review on his Facebook profile:

Just saw the Atlas Shrugged movie as a special preview in NYC. Despite many minor criticisms, overall I liked it alot. On a scale of 1-10, rate it as a 7. Good job by John Aglioloro and all associated with the project. Not easy to do a good artistic rendition of Part One in 100 minutes. Absorbed my attention thoroughly — and will definitely see it again, when it opens in NY in April.

As far as I know, he is the first Objectivist associated with the Ayn Rand Institute to offer his public impressions of the movie.
